A PARISH IN MOTION
We aim to create a thriving church community where faith is active, worship is vibrant, and service is at the heart of all we do. Every member of St Mary’s, St Peter’s and St Paul’s is encouraged to explore their gifts and consider how they can contribute to the life and mission of our church.
Calls of God
In 2018, the Parish of Wargrave with Knowl Hill embarked on a renewed vision for church life and ministry. Rooted in the belief that every Christian is called and equipped by the Holy Spirit for service, this vision identified eight key areas of ministry - integral to church life - that we refer to as "Calls of God" (CoGs).
These CoGs:
Gathering, Communicating,
Caring, Stewarding
Supporting, Nurturing,
Celebrating, Reaching
are the foundation of our church’s mission. Each is deliberately framed as a verb, reinforcing the idea that ministry is about action, service, and a commitment to both God and our community.
The CoGs work together to ensure that our church is not just a place of worship but a dynamic and responsive community. They encourage each of us to ask, "What is God calling me to? Where can I serve?" Whether through pastoral care, outreach, discipleship, or practical support, every member of the congregation has a role to play in fulfilling God’s mission.

Question for the PCC?
The PCC is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual life of our parish, responsibly managing resources, fostering community, and guiding the church in its mission to serve and support all.
We welcome your questions and look forward to engaging with you on these important matters.
If you have any questions or concerns about how we operate, we encourage you to send them to us.
Whether you're interested in how donations are used, the church’s budget, or how we make decisions about funding and resources, the PCC is here to provide clarity.
This is also a great opportunity to ask about our governance, how we work together as a church community, or any ideas you have for improving our activities and outreach.
